So it seems the story is: despite its design for superior aerodynamics, the improvement in stealth technology makes the F-22 much stealthier than the F-117, as far as penetrating enemy airspace. Makes me feel better. As I get older, when I see a photo of an F-22 or -35, I less often get the "this is so cool" feeling and more often the "I can't believe we're paying LockMart HOW MUCH for this damn thing?"..... ;)
