Credentials? Is this an "expert" forum? Many of the contributors here are, in fact, experts. But, many more are enthusists - and sometimes the people who do stuff as a hobby are better informed than many of "the experts". Letting people know who you are is fine. But if the list is going to be used to "validate" the relative worth of any one contributor, I think it's a very bad idea. As it now stands, one may get a sense of the veracity of a post by the information contained therein. Sometimes, we ask for more than a statement to help solve the riddles we're presented. And, who is to say that the information provided by the individuals for posting on their bio is really true? Do we vet the bios? There's just a few issues that could arise. My two cents.
