This traffic counter was found on Groom Lake Road in the early afternoon of July 10, 2001 by a young German reader of our web site. It was chained to the speed limit sign near the ET Hwy, and the sensor cable was laid out across GL Rd. Click on the attched link for a photo showing the entire setup. The counter reads 126 on this photo.
Has anyone seen this counter anywhere around Groom? Anyone cares to speculate about the purpose?
