On a recent airing of Brad Meltzer's Decoded series, was an episode titled (unfortunately) UFOs, but included Area 51. In the program was a claim that the base was "built on top of an abandoned silver mine". That was the first time I had heard that claim. I would like to hear TD's take on that assertion. If true, then mining tunnels would qualify as "tunnels under the base".
