There were a few witness reports of possible debris falling over Nevada, including one report of a possible fall about 10 miles east of Delamar Lake. Searchers failed to find anything. It probably would have been pretty small and the terrain is very rugged. It's hard enough to find a known aircraft crash site within a single square mile of open desert. Imagine trying to find a few bits of debris in an entire mountain range.
