The link below is to a great article from Air & Space that someone posted here awhile back. If you haven't read it, you should. It's good stuff. I was just glancing it over again and on Page 2 it talks about an XB-70 like aircraft that was seen many times in the early-mid 90's, and could possibly be connected to the unusual contrails or engine sounds heard by many Groom observers during that time period. What about the Andreas von Retyi sighting of a large white aircraft sitting on the ramp near Hangar 18 on September 26, 1995? Doesn't the aircraft von Retyi saw/heard fit the bill? Thoughts?
