That's no fun.... I have a couple of questions.

Does the original purchaser have some known amount of time with sole rights to the image before it's put up on "Pawn Stars" for discount sale by GeoEye?

Can the public get to the GeoEye archive to see what is available at the cut rate price?

According to my measurements the area shown in Google Earth for this new patch of image is about 140 SqKm (at $25/SqKm that's about $3500). The "Pawn Stars" rate for that patch would be about $700. This is a very interesting lesson in capitalism if that is how it works.

Most of what Google Earth got was raw desert so there must be a minimum SqKm threshold for the "used" imagery or they would have only bought the good stuff for $69.95
