I made a trip out once in February. There was no snow until I hit the 4WD road intersection and had to stop around Badger Spring: 37° 20.764'N, 115° 20.585'W. The "road" gets really narrow, full of ruts and big rocks. I could no longer see the obstacles so I decided to turn around. The snow was at least 1 foot deep so even hiking the quarter mile to the trailhead would have sucked. and forget the first part of the climb!

I made my first trip in lat April 2008. It was mild temperature but still snow in patches on the mountain. I lost the trail (easy to do) and wound up in knee deep snow on the way down! Wait until summer!
