As for the sat. image, I am not sure if there is a thermal imagery option. Basically, for the base price, $25 per sq.km. with a 100sq.km minimum, you don't get to pick the date, time of day etc. There are more expensive options that allow that to some degree, and there are options other than true color. I have not explored those in detail, though. I am sure you can inquire on their web site, geoeye.com.

As for the donations, yes, there are still a couple of slots open in our image analysis team.
