What is TTR used for now? That leads to another question, when the F117 transferred from TTR to Holloman, what took it's place at TTR? In looking at the Google Earth images of TTR, the last image is in 2007. The new Dreamland image of Area51 is great. Are there any other areas, like TTR, a paid for new image might be worthwhile in obtaining? In talking about a new images, this is probably not possible, worthwhile, lawful, etc. but would the satellite company take a thermal image of A51 at night? I remember seeing on the recent A51 documentary one of the ways the Soviets found out about Oxcart was from the heat shadow it left after sitting on the tarmac during the day. Maybe the night image would actually catch something on the runway or a shadow or two? It probably would not catch anything on the tarmac, as if it is even possible to take a night pic, I assume they still have to give the gov a heads up they are taking a pic. Lastly...can one still donate to the new image and receive a cd?
