Perhaps re-striping is in anticapation of a first flight.
A recent Aviation Week article 'Big Wing, Evidence suggests Northrop Grumman won classified contract to develop stealthy UAV' reports the new A51 hanger was built to support this program. Inital speculation was the classifed contract was for the Next Generation Bomber. Current thinking is the contract was for development of a very large stealth UAV capable of a very large weapons load, which maybe about ready to fly.
