Nevada Test Site Area 5 - “Low Level Radiation Containment Area.” This is where they load low-level radioactive material into 55 gallon drums and then into sea containers and then bury them in the ground. Tons and tons of “hot” material are all over this area. Then they put 10 foot monuments at the 4 corners of each pit to indicate it’s boundaries. You visit this containment area on the monthly NTS Tour.
