I stand by my original answer that the OSI/PJ folks are the special access guys. They probably concentrate on background checks and look for hinkey stuff during the "annual polygraphy" that many special access programs require. Air Force office symbols are a nightmare to figure out. Some are easy, like SP for Security Police, FM for Financial Management. Yet others make no sense without a cheat sheet. As in many other areas of the government, sometimes names are deliberately misleading. I'm not shooting from the hip here...let's just leave it at that.
