I noticed the Little A Le Inn has a what I thought was just a weather station near the main sign. Upon a closer look, I realized it is a station put up by the NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration) as part of the Community Environmental Monitoring Program. I asked the guy behind the bar when it was put up, he replied it was somewhere else in town and recently moved to the Little A Le Inn. I am not sure if it was a monitoring station all the time or if that is a recent addition. The equipment looks new. They have pamphlets, and data on sheets of paper that can be accessed by anybody.
