While I was doing research on a German/French Documentary “Schlagabtausch der Supermächte - Der geheime U-Boot Krieg”
on the USS Scorpion & K-129 for Dirk
Pohlmann with whom I did Documentary did the” Zone 51 Nevada” USAF Migs show mentioned in the posts below I found out about the Azorian Film but I’ve yet to see it in fact I’ve yet to see the film I worked in English!
Dirk interviewed a gentleman who was involved in hands-on training which if I remember right took place in a full or near full size mock-up in Alameda CA as well as the recovery op itself,
