Myself and a couple other guys are going to be in that area on July 13-16. We are planning on camping at the top on the night of the 13th. As long as the forecast is good I only bring a small camping pad and sleeping bag. In July it should be pretty warm at night. If it sounds like a chance of rain we just camp at the trailhead with a tent and hike up early. If you would like to join us, let me know. We are all in our 40s and 50s and not in super shape, but it takes us about an hour and a half to climb it.
