In 1995 there was a public hearing regarding the withdrawl of some land around Area51 which included Whitesides and Freedome Ridge. I attended that hearing and i suspect several followers of this web site were also there. There were about 100 people there plus the Govt reps that were answering questions from the public; it was quite interesting. I recall that Agent X was there and i believe he had a panorama of the base posted on the back wall of the room. There were lots of media there and a lot of cameras. Here is my question - does anyone have any artifacts of that event? By artifacts i mean anything like handouts, video clips, photographs, audio/video recordings, results published later by the government, etc. It would be nice if we could collect a list of those artifacts and perhaps highlight them on this site since it was a rather critical milestone regarding the observation of our favorite non-existant base. just a thought.
