You don't - they cost more then that. What you do is buy a KIT for $350, then assemble it yourself. A basic knowledge of electronics is esential, and a couple of good scanners come in handy. (With the scanners, you can 'connect' the signal with the actual transmission, not only identifying that particular 'datum', but tracking the aircraft transmitting it...
