Green Flag - West exercises take place 10 times a year. Aircraft and crews fly from Nellis AFB, Nev., in support of ground combat training at Fort Irwin (Barstow), Calif. Green Flag schedule for fiscal year 2011: March 11-March 25 April 15-April 29 May 13-May 27 June 10-June 24 Aug. 12-Aug. 26 Sept. 9-Sept. 23 Dates and units participating in Green Flag exercises are subject to change.
