Yes, I did not hear him at all until he was past me. And even then he was quiet. Either he was higher (and larger) than I thought, or VERY quiet. The test did not start until the moon went down, so I have only the wing tip lights to go on.

Not sure why the radar sites are so close to public land. There are more similar sites near Cedar Gate. Compartmentalization, maybe? Perhaps the site operators, or some of the test articles, are not cleared to be closer to Groom? As we know from our satellite images, there are more radar sites in Emigrant Valley, closer to Groom as well.
