The 93 page BLM report indicated OPGW in a couple of places. I dealt with fiber optic cable during my time at the Great Telephone Experiment. You have very high rate of data, video, voice transmission that is also extremely secure. Also noted the eventual addition of a 138 KV line. My VLF receiver will be useless with all the AC hum.
