I agree that growing up in California and Nevada,must have been great for aviation enthusiasts.I grew up and still live in the UK centrally in Northamptonshire .I had B47s and B66s overhead, based locally up to 1962 at Chelveston.In the 70s,80s,and early 90s F111s from Upper Heyford,RF4s and TR1s from Alconbury and aggressor F5s.The skies overhead are empty now often see F15s from Lakenheath and RAF C130s returning from the airbridge to Afghanistan,but as the cartoon says thats all folks....
