Argh, I wish I could take a trip soon down to Nevada just to see Groom and maybe the Test Site. I live near Portland, Oregon, and like others I have a strong interest in outdoor sort of things, and military, especially special forces and aircraft. Like others have mentioned above me, there is not a lot to see for military aircraft near where I live, and all I really have near me is an air national guard base in Portland, so at least I get to see something like an
F-15 doing the occasional flyby.

The other cool thing near me is Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. It has an SR-71, a GTD-21B drone, and a Titan 2 missile. Beyond the museum and the national guard base, there seems to be pretty much nothing here.
