Some of you undoubtedly noticed the photos on Black Horizon of the Holloman T-38s with the F-117s painted on the tail. The friend who took them said they have been flying in and out of Rick Husband/Amarillo all week. He talked to one of the refuelers who works at the FSS station here and he said he asked them what they (the pilots) were doing here in Amarillo. He claimed they were doing familiarization flights in the area because they would soon be doing lots of training in "another type of jet that you will soon be seeing a lot of." Note: It is not uncommon to have all types of military jets using RH/AMA INT for practicing touch and gos. That's just one of the perks fof living here. I can't wait to find out what that "other jet" is.
