If I remember correctly, they found out that painting an aircraft pink made it harder to see. However, the air force said 'real men fly aircraft that are painted black'.
Whatever the aircraft is, it looks (to my untrained eye) to be pink...
I believe that the shade of pink that is least visible against the sky is Mountbatten pink...
