I happened to catch this show last night; I'll refer to the previous post for the obvious comments on the show content. Did anyone notice the shots of the security camera/microwave relay towers and see how much the wind was shaking them? I can't imagine the video image is very useful given the way it was moving. Would that indicate that the cameras are not being used? Or perhaps, that they have a big limitation on resolution and are just used for quasi-motion detection?
It was easy to see that the large microwave(?) relay dome on top was doing some vortex shedding in the wind; looked like the wind wasn't very strong so may be it hits a resonant frequency or something. They should have some geeks on the inside figure that one out.
