Its a close up...

some of the star flares dont look real. Its unusual to view them as start like..

The blurred ones do more what I witnessed but as I was far away its hard to say..

I will say that the lights I witnessed looked more luminous in comparision considering that I was far a away on highway 375... not close up at the camping area of groom road.

I am not sure what the 60s range is or means..
is this a mountain range looking towards groom lake... I assume that it wasnt taken in the 1960s.

can you offer a few details..

ie how close were you, /what distance away from the flares. you refer to 375 highway...if so What zoom lens was you using..

What year was the photo taken..

Do you have any other shots that also show the mountains that is not so zoomed in...
