Thanks for the suggestion. I tried entering the IP address directly, but I can only see the site when using a web-based proxy.

I feel a bit silly suggesting it (seems a bit like something some of the ATS folks would say), but it seems like they might be denying me access based on my IP.

I looked at the privacy policy on the website and it says that among the data the site collects is "the pages you peruse (recorded by the text and graphics files that compose that page) and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site."

I can't help but wonder if repeated Det 3 related searches, and linking from Area 51 related webpages, somehow resulted in my IP being banned.
