I spoke to Ms. Sheahan just a few minutes after she spoke at last year's Road Runners reunion as we all exited the panel discussion. I told her I knew of, but not very much of the Groom Mine. I had no idea the land was still personally owned and not annexed by the government. I don't remember how I phrased it but I asked her if she was going to be able pass it along to the next of kin or will the Air Force gobble it up. She replied, "I hope so, it's mine!"
