Hi James,
I was out around that area last week. I am going to do a trip report this weekend. I did climb Tikaboo and make the normal stops.

The back gate is cool. Also, if you look on Google earth you can see a road that goes into the restricted zone. I drove down it to the signs at the end. The road is between Hwy 375 and the back gate.

On Google earth you will also see a dry lake bed across the street from Rachel. I drove out onto it and found it to be fun... Keep in mind that I am from Atlanta and we have nothing like that around!!!

I had a Jeep 4X4.. might be a good idea. I ran into a few soft driving out to the lade bed.
