The so-called "Quick-Kill" radar (operated by Lincoln Lab) is of the network radar system (there are Quick Kill sites), and these are said to be better than bi-static type for detecting and tracking low RCS vehicles. The new hangar northwest of the Red Hats hangar (which you label as scoot-and-hide), is the hangar used by Lincoln Lab's Gulfstream II. The Red Hats hnagar that is open in the mentioned images, is the main hangar and is used mostly by "acquired" fighter and attack aircraft. The Evaluators (joint intel effort by DIA, NAIA, ONI (N22), USAF, and USN)fighter aircraft, such as the black Playboy 1 (nick-named sometimes, the "Black Bunny") and F-15s use the hangar on the left. This joint is under control of the USN. The building between hangar 18 and Lockheed's main hangar is for support (exec offices). The building east of the shipping and recieving building is used by EG&G/Lockheed for base clean up (i.e., the digging up, removing the hazardous waste from the previous land-fill and locating it to the very south end of the facilities at Groom, beyond the fuel tank farm.
