I received this account from a fellow ham today....

"I heard a fellow was heading south on 95. He got near Yucca Mtn. area and ran into a LOT of traffic. "White trucks", I have no description at this time, but most likey delivery van or larger, hauling "refrigerated food" into NTS. Supposedly this fellow who came across them had pulled over to watch and got into a chat with a driver of one of the trucks who mentioned there were 2,500 vehicles in this particular convoy."

I don't believe the 2500 vehicle count, but could believe 250....but still that would mean a lot of hungry folks at the NTS if they were really hauling 'refrigerated food'.

Anybody closer to 95 see any of this convoy?
