I am member of the SatOBS list (the same group that recently became famous for discovering and pinning down the X-37B orbit_

What you saw was the ISS and the Progress M-06M spacecraft. the "orangish tint" you saw was from the vast 16 vast solar arrays of the ISS.

The Progress successfully docked 4 July 2010 at 16:18 utc. and prior was parked in an orbit that would have see it leading the ISS by about 15 seconds as seen as the ground.
