and, yes, I've been inside the "Tombs" under the
Dry Lake.... it is very similar to facilities
outside of Purcellville, Virgina, commonly
referred, affectionately, as "Mount Weather,"
also, "SECURE" by folk working for EG&G.

EG&G is now part of the Carlyle Group, and if you follow that trail you will see an interesting pattern
of international investments, specializing in high security level defense industries and governmental entities....

Mount Weather is the main Communications/Intel facility, whereas "Groom Lake" is the main engineering/technology center....

I used to carry the "Football" aboard HMX-1
