I was lucky enough to see one of the USAF E-4B airborne command posts doing some touch and goes at Wright Patterson AFB a few weeks ago. It did eventually land and park on the apron near the control tower. By the time I got in a good position to shoot some pictures, it was on its last approach for the day.
If there's any interest in photos I can forward to one of the moderators. I don't have a webpage to post them on.
When I saw it flying over I-70 just norht of the base, I was hoping it might have been the YAL-4, but this was pretty good too.
