I was driving the family to our favorite Friday night eatery on Craig Rd in North Las Veagas a few miles from Nellis AFB. I was driving towards the base when I noticed a plane flying towards us and heading to the range.It had a very usual profile from head on. I looked very much like a U2 with a very similar long wing span. It flew almost overhead and it did not look like a U2. It made no sound that I or my family could hear. The wings were huge with a long and narrow fuselage. The tail looked really odd, like it was split. The wings were tan. It was very strange. I am assuming it was from Nellis, but it almost looked to high to have taken off from Nellis, but it must have come from there. I looked at the clock and it was 7:02 pm Friday night. Do any of the followers who work at Nellis know what the heck we saw??? Thanks
