You should be able to rent a Cessna (or comparable single-engine piston aircraft) and a pilot from any of the flight schools at North Las Vegas and just ask them to fly up there. Some may balk, but there's nothing illegal about it: you just orbit east of the restricted area and take a look: I've done it before in my own plane and there's no trouble from Nellis ATC as long as you make it clear that you know where the restricted airspace starts and you won't be crossing it. It's a far better view than Tikaboo, it's just a matter of cost: probably $150-175 an hour for about 3hrs of flight. It can also get turbulent after mid-morning as poor Pete Merlin can attest from when he was my unfortunate guest 10+yrs ago. So, do it early morning.
