TTR is run by Sandia Nat'l Labs, which is now a Lockheed Martin Company......Basicly does testing and development of weapons and other such deliverables(to the enemy).....Was home in the F-117 Nighthawk in their early days.......
The Nevada Test sites work is primately with nuclear devices, etc.....
In the other areas of the Nellis Rantge are the bombing ranges for use by Nellis Weapons Training folks.........
