whats going on with the widening of the 375 highway North of the mailbox ?

Traffic was more than I expected, seeing quite a few big Lorries as well as cars at times, but overall traffic is low !

I noted some big pipes had been added in places..4 or so together .. is this just drainage or do you think they are using it to transport either water or something to the base itself ?
