Boeing Job in "Las Vegas"

Boeing is cleary one of the active prime defense contractors at AFFTC Det 3. Below is a job requisition for a Flight Operations Mechanic, with some of the tasking description highlights:

- "Inspect explosive and armament installations."
- "Inspect drag chutes and wing tip tanks as required."
- "Inspect the construction and modification of experimental aircraft."
- "Perform crash crew duties as directed."
- "Direct the aircraft in, chock the aircraft, putting up the boarding ladders, install essential safeties and unlock and fold wings."
- "Install and remove aircraft doors (excluding electronic access doors) and EROS pods."
- "Assemble prototype such as Model 119."

To me, this req is a treasure of information on recent activities at Det 3. One could speculate what is happening:

The Eliminate Range O System (EROS) pod may be used for night ops, to prevent running the chase plane into the flight asset due to limited vision from night flights.

McDonnell Model 119 may be a good match for the flight asset, as the mach and altitude range, as well as multi-engine setup are perhaps similar, enabling the Test Pilots to stay current while flying chase for the test asset, and logging hours in the Model 119.

The fact the req discusses an ejection seat and boarding ladders tells me the test asset is at least optionally manned, because the Model 119 (chase plane) may not require either.

What about wing tip tanks?
Folding wings?
Drag chute?
Armament?
