I went in to work at NASA Dryden at 3:30am, arriving after the shuttle had been waved off for the first landing opportunity in Florida. Although this greatly increased the chance of an Edwards landing, Mission Control advised the astronauts to keep planning for KSC despite questionable weather conditions. Naturally, they kept us hanging until the last possible moment so we remained ready to support the landing until deorbit burn committed the shuttle to touchdown in Florida.
