I think at 26 miles (over 40km for Europeans) the atmosphere is the limiting factor. Even with extremely good optics I doubt that you would get significantly better quality. What you really need is a very clear day, with no wind or dust in the air. The day when I took those photos was the clearest I have ever seen up there, and I doubt that it gets much better than that.

Also, hauling anything over 20 pounds or so up to Tikaboo is not an easy task. Gary can tell you more about this... ;-)
