Well it's mid April now and I just got back from a few days in Rachel. I got into "town" well after dark, Sunday night and stayed in my 22 foot camper. A small storm rolled in around 1 am and the wind was gusting to almost 25 miles per hour. My wife thought the camper was going to tip over! I awoke around 5 am by rain and the fact I was freezing my biscuits off. The outside temperature only dropped to 38° F but I didn't have the heater on so it was like a ice box inside. I would not want to be on top of Tikaboo Peak with that weather! Tuesday's weather was much better, mildly warm and sunny with a little rain up in the hills around our favorite base. I wanted to do a recon of the road out to Tikaboo Peak, but we ran out of daylight. I am going back out next Thursday and that's on my list of things to do...

I hope this helps,

Jeff
