by "could not see a cockpit" do you mean that you were not viewing the plane from an angle you could see the cockpit or do you think it was a unmanned aircraft?

could you give an estimate of about what altitude it was flying? if you are not good at judging that maybe you could compare it to airplanes landing in your area and tell us how far you are from the airport.

i have been buzzed before during red flag and was even apparently dive-bombed by a tornado while driving in a rented red mustang convertible traveling at a fairly good rate of speed. it was quite thrilling and i understand your excitement.
