The CIA mentioning UFO sighting numbers isn't a joke or coincidence. Its a get out of jail free card.

When its revealed that a lot of craft that were reported as UFO's get proven to belong to the CIA, then the outrage is mitigated, because they told us that's what was going on long ago.

The Belgian "ufo wave" was CIA craft operating in or near East Germany. If you can figure out what operations the CIA had ongoing between Nov of 89 and March of 1990 then you have your answer as to what the craft were doing there.

I think we are all familiar with the phenomenon of "urban legends". The CIA and Air Force are just enjoying the help of urban legends in keeping the curious at bay.

As long as people call their craft "UFO's", the mainstream wont pay any attention....
