The best place to actually see the base is Tikaboo Peak. Click the attached link for a map, directions and some useful info. You can find more maps of the area in our Maps section.

The base north of Area 51 is probably TTR. It is not quite as top secret as Area 51, and can be seen from some spots along Hwy 6. The retired F-117 Stealth Fighters are in storage there, and the base is currently used, among other projects, for tactical evaluation of various UAV designs. It also provides logistics support for the various exercises conducted in the NTTR.
