Back in the early 1980s, a number of Greenpeace(?) activists hiked into the NTS to try and disrupt bombing exercises and camped out near Papoose Lake (sorry, Mr. Lazar, they didn't see any underground UFO bases). I wonder if they hiked up the mountain and got any photographs of Groom Lake from the south? Peter?
