Here's an interesting postscript to the Col. Rich Graham Tues. presentation on the Blackbird. The aeronautical marvel was nicknamed HABU by locals who first saw the plane @ Kadena AFB Okinawa. Locals, on sight, visualized a likeness to the Habu or pit viper snake found in S.E. Asia known for its poisonous venom and sting --- a succinct and descriptive portrait of the war bird. We may need to bring the Blackbird out-of-retirement for unannounced surveillance. S/F ... Jesse
