If I recall correctly, Groom's aerial fast-jet units are assigned from either Hill AFB or Nellis. They will be tasked with intercepting and investigating aerial transgressors, nothing more. They have no inherent need to know or be involved in any base research or contractor ops...there are already resources for that. F-14/15/16/18 wearing the latest RAM paint or materials? Been done to death. The latest F-22 or B-2 or SH with the latest and greatest are likewise not on display.

No need to paint NG F-16s with some type of super-secret coating and leave them in the sunlight for the Russians, Chinese, and, Google to captue when years of prior controlled testing has answered the questions. None.

The color differences you see are the result of lighting, time of day, etc. Hiding things in the light of plain day is exemplary, but, not with this.............
