Could something "political" be in the works here?
I mean it has been quite a long time since the world has seen something really new and spectacular from the United States as far as aviation development and technology is concerned.
And, considering that a price has already been put on the Space Shuttles...and lowered, already.
Could it be that a new roll out or new announcement of some kind is being planned to coincide with increased sonic boom activity off California, loud engine noises in Nevada etc.?
A lot of taxpayers money has been going out the doors of late...
Could the government be getting ready to throw a bone to some of the press and interested parties both inside your country and outside?
Manned or not though?
That question does intrigue me.
Do you think they are truly ready to give up the "Right Stuff" persona just yet?
Seems a hard sell...doesn't it?
